DANOSA and SENOR have launched one of the slimmest soundproofing systems (only 9 cm thick), compatible with both wall linings and ceilings. This system is designed to reduce noise issues in residential buildings, commercial spaces, hotels, and more, providing an efficient solution without compromising much space.
This system is included within SENOR’s FTD range, featuring the SE-FTD MINI 47 damper, specifically designed for compact systems using 45-48 mm profiles (TC-45/48 type).
Tests conducted at the Tecnalia laboratory, under the UNE-EN ISO 10140-2:2022 standard and evaluated according to UNE-EN ISO 717-1:2021, have demonstrated the high efficiency of our solutions in reducing airborne and impact noise.

📢 Highest Acoustic Performance with Minimal Intervention
Installing SENOR and DANOSA systems provides a substantial enhancement in soundproofing, with up to +12 dB and +13 dB in Rw for airborne noise and 23 dB for impact noise isolation, ensuring quieter and more comfortable environments. This system stands out for its versatility, being compatible with both wall linings and ceilings, making it ideal for a variety of construction applications. Additionally, its compact design, with a thickness of just 9 cm, allows for seamless integration without compromising space.
💡 This innovative, slim, and highly efficient system marks a significant turning point in improving the acoustics of any space.
📢 Conclusion: What’s more, these tests have evaluated two additional solutions, referred to as non-acoustic systems, to demonstrate the importance of using acoustic dampers in construction systems. The results showed that acoustic ceiling systems incorporating dampers achieved a 23 dB improvement in impact noise isolation, while systems without dampers only improved by 18 dB.
Despite the absence of a specific regulation for measuring the improvement of impact noise soundproofing in vertical elements (such as wall linings), SENOR’s Technical Department is committed to researching and developing more effective acoustic solutions for the construction industry. The spread of impact noise through the structure of construction elements allows us to extrapolate these results and advocate for the use of high-quality dampers and acoustic strips. Incorporating these elements adds elasticity to construction systems, preventing rigid connections that form sound bridges and significantly reducing noise transmission.
These findings underscore the importance of integrating advanced acoustic solutions in all types of buildings, ensuring greater acoustic comfort and effectively reducing noise pollution in living spaces.
