FTD-MINI 47 is a unique anti-vibration mount with incredible results in the acoustic field designed for application in acoustic ceilings with TC-47 type profiles. It is the present and the future solution to soundproofing small spaces, obtaining better acoustic enhancement to airborne noise of more than 12 dBA.

It also has a major advantage due to it´s quick catch; called CLIP STOP, providing quality, performance and safety to TC-45/48 mm wide and 17 mm high metal channel profiles that are used for plasterboard applications.

Normalised base wall: 15 cm concrete block + plasterboard on both sides.
Standard base thickness and weight: 17.5 cm and 149 kg/m².
Total thickness of wall cladding: 6.2 cm
Sample description: direct lining formed with dampers SE-FTD OMEGA (SENOR) + acoustic strip SE-BEC-10×100 (SENOR) + omega profiles (KNAUF)
+ decoupling strip SE-MONT-BICAPA-40 (SENOR) + absorbing material Chovanapa 4 cm (CHOVA) + PYL 15 mm (KNAUF) + acoustic sheet Viscolam 65 4 mm (CHOVA)
+ PYL 12.5 cm (KNAUF)

Note: For the FTD-MINI 47 product, the acoustic results obtained in this test is also valid, as both products share the same base structure (metal+EPDM) and polymers.

Result: 12 dB improvement in airborne noise compared to 48 dB base wall, reaching 60.2 dB of total insulation.
